# QuietOps Client Kit Sample: Opportunity Scorecard

Use this sample before writing a proposal. Score each line from 1 to 5. Opportunities below 25 points should usually be declined, delayed, or reframed before a proposal is written.

| Criteria | Question | Score |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Real pain | Does the problem cost the client money, time, reputation, or momentum? | |
| Urgency | Is there a clear reason to act now? | |
| Decision maker | Am I speaking with someone who can approve the work? | |
| Budget | Can the client accept a viable price range? | |
| Scope | Can the request be defined as clear deliverables? | |
| Access | Can the client provide materials, access, and decisions on time? | |
| Fit | Does this work seem repeatable, profitable, and aligned with my offer? | |

## Suggested thresholds

- 30-35: strong fit. Prepare a proposal.
- 25-29: workable, but clarify weak areas before quoting.
- Below 25: reframe, offer paid discovery, or decline.

## Clean decline message

Thanks for the context. Based on the current scope and timing, I do not think I am the best fit for this project as it stands.

I would rather be clear before creating cost or expectations. If useful, the next step could be a paid discovery phase to turn the request into a clearer execution plan.
